Better Late Than Never!

Happy New Year!! Ever since I got Netflix for David for Christmas, I've been watching movies instead of blogging. So far we've watched Curb Your Enthusiam-very funny, Atonment, Mamma Mia, and August Rush-not great. On New Years, I threw together a last-minute party. I didn't really want to- but nobody had plans and I am not into going to bars and driving home plus dealing with a hang over and kids the next day is no fun. It took me a few times to learn that lesson! So, we had some friends over and played Apples to Apples. We spiced it up a bit though, and if you got a green card, you had to do a shot. Here is our "family" photo. I told everyone this was going to be their Christmas card next year from me.

David looks like a big, green booger right in the middle. Anyway, here are my plans for 2009:

1. Call my Grandpa every Sunday. So far, I have not done this.

2. Start to recycle. I need to set up a system in my garage to separate everything- so far I have not done this.

3. Organize my recipes. This particular goal makes me sound and feel really old. This is something a grandma would have planned for 2009.

4. Stop tearing things out of magazines. This is a habit my mom and sister both have as well. It is a sick habit. What do I do with the things I rip out? Stuff them in a drawer. Weird I know.

5. Do some re-vamping on my blog. It needs some help from my blog-designer Jane. I'm working on getting you a picture!! I also am working on getting a profile picture so I'm not a generic silhouette.
